Due to the COVID19 outbreak we are taking measures to ensure our customers’ and our safety.

For those attending the property please note that hand sanitiser is available and will be used.

We have also reduced the number of places available for the beekeeping course. From 8 per course we are now reduced to 6. This allows everyone more space around them in the class room.

I currently run two courses through the beekeeping season.  They are the BEEKEEPING FOR BEGINNERS course, and the QUEEN MARKING workshop.  Please click on the appropriate link to make a booking and find out more information.

If you fancy picking up a cup of something delicious on your way over or a snack for your lunch, why not pop into Pallet Cafe in our local village (Nairne). Marcello and his staff run a wonderful establishment catering for light snacks to lunches. If you give them a call they will arrange for your lunch in advance which will be ready for you to pick up for the course. This is very useful for the Beekeeping For Beginners course as you will need to provide your own lunch. Have a look at Marcello’s website here. Tell them Crispin sent you.

  1. Thank you Crispin for an excellent bee keeping course. It was informative and entertaining at the same time. I now have the confidence to start and just completed my first inspection on my own 2 backyard hives. Thanks again and looking forward speaking again.

  2. The Beekeeping Beginners course is a great way to gain a lot of practical information in a relatively short time. Crispin was interesting, the content was good. I would highly recommend this course if you are interested in keeping bees or have been doing so for a little time. You wont regret it!
